Terms of use
Last updated 22 July 2026
AgentBeacon is a free AI-readiness audit, provided as is with no warranty, no service level agreement and no liability for decisions made on the basis of a result. The score is our own measurement against our own published weights, not an industry standard. By using the service you accept these terms.
Acceptable use
- You are responsible for the addresses you submit. Only audit sites you own or have a legitimate reason to measure.
- Do not use the service to probe or overload sites you do not control, and do not attempt to probe, overload or abuse the service itself. Requests are rate limited and we may block traffic at our discretion, without notice.
- An audit fetches the submitted page and a small number of well known files at the site root, such as robots.txt, the sitemap and llms.txt. It identifies itself honestly by user agent and does not attempt to bypass anything that refuses it.
What we store
- Audit results are cached for one hour and then deleted automatically.
- No accounts, no registration and no personal data stored.
- IP addresses are used in memory for rate limiting only and are not written to storage. We record request metadata for our own analytics: the audited site's hostname, timing and outcome, never full addresses.
- This page uses our own self-hosted analytics to count visits. It sets no advertising cookies and shares nothing with third party ad networks.
Third party sites
An audit reads the submitted page the way an automated reader would. We claim no rights over audited sites, and you are responsible for having a lawful reason to measure the pages you submit.
Availability
One part of the audit, the check for whether your content survives without JavaScript, depends on a separate rendering service. When it is unavailable that category is reported as not checked and the score is worked out from the categories that did run, rather than counting the gap against you.
Changes
These terms may change. The current version always lives at this page, and continued use of the service means you accept it. Scoring weights may also change; every result carries the scoring version it was produced under.
